Dr. Kelly McGonigal

Bio:

Dr. Kelly McGonigal is a health psychologist and lecturer at Stanford University. Through the Stanford Center for Compassion and Altruism, she co-authored the Stanford Compassion Cultivation Training, which integrates compassion meditation with contemporary psychological approaches. She is the author of several books, including the “The Willpower Instinct,” “Yoga for Pain Relief,” and her latest book, the “The Upside of Stress.”

Acharya Fleet Maull

Bio:

Fleet Maull is an intrepid social activist/peacemaker and itinerant meditation teacher who travels the world leading retreats, peacemaker trainings, prison programs and transformational seminars. He is an empowered senior teacher in two Buddhist lineages, as an Acharya in the international Shambhala Buddhist Community and a Sensei in the Zen Peacemaker Order. Fleet is well known as a prison reform activist and the founder of Prison Mindfulness Institute and the Engaged Mindfulness Institute.
